First I'd like to say to all those being affected by Hurricane Sandy to please stay safe! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. For the rest of us....stay warm LOL It's getting cold out. And with the cold I found this wonderful little kit called My Grungy Wonderland by Sherry's Scpras. It makes want to get on my boots and gloves and go out for a good snowball fight and then come in for some nice hot chocolate. If you like the grungy look or the wintery look then this is the kit for you. Here's what I did with it.....

With the change in the weather and the Christmas decorations going up at the stores I'm getting in the Christmas mood already. Our weatherman is even talking snow for us soon. OH MY! I found this cute little Add-On Kit to the Holiday Blog Train (from a few years ago) by The Brown Owl. It is just adorable! It's full of nice Christmas colors and cute little embellishments to decorate all your Christmas pages with.  Here are a couple of layouts I made with it.

I found an awesome kit by Heavenly Scraps called Spicy Retro. If you like pinks, greens, and browns, then this is the kit for you. It's funky and retro....right out of the 70's LOL You need to check this kit out at her store.

Well just call me a scrappin fool this week. I've been sick for the last week so I've had nothing to do but sit and play on my computer. My whole family all got the same cold within 24 hrs and they're all better but my body must like the virus because it's holding on to it. Can I trade it in for a new body? LOL Anyways, here's another beautiful kit that I got to work with this week. It's called Beauty Is... by Throwing Some Scraps Around. The colors in this kit are so elegant and soft. I have so many more ideas for this kit. There are also a couple of add-ons that are available. With the temperatures dropping and Fall fast approaching us in the north I was inspired to do a Fall layout. I used a beautiful kit by Panda Bear Designs called Fall Harvest which you can find here. This kit has some gorgeous deep rich colors in it and wonderful elements to work with. The first layout I made was for our Monthly Desktop Challenge over at DigiScrapStation. If you haven't joined  yet come join the fun with us. There are plenty of things to keep you busy. The second layout I made was of my 2 middle boys when they were little picking out their pumpkins at Jackson's Apple Orchard. The little guy was so pooped after 2 hrs of playing that he decided to take a break and sat down in the wheel barrow and made daddy push him around for a while. I just loved working with this kit. It was the perfect Fall kit. Thank you Panda Bear Designs for your wonderful work!!!!!!!!

Ok so call me crazy for thinking about Halloween and trick-or-treating already but hey if Walmart can have out their Halloween stuff already then so can I LOL. I found this really cute kit by Karen's Scraps and Graphics called Scary Nights and I just had to have it and make a couple of layouts with it. This kit has some really adorable pieces in it and would look great with all those trick-or-treating or Halloween party pictures. Wow I can't believe it's the end of August already but I'm so excited the kids go back to school in just 5 more days. This momma is doing the happy dance!!!! The summer did go by fast though. I think because I've been so busy sitting here at my computer playing around with my scrapping pages.

NEWS FLASH**** I've been accepted as a Creative Team member over at DigiScrapStation. I am so excited to be a part of the team and to work with such talented people. They have all taken me in and made me feel right at home. So if you need a place to go please come over and join us. This week I had the privilege of working with a cute kit by Gail Cook called Sweet as Sugar. It was a lot of fun to work with and was pretty versatile for both boys and girls. Lots of bright, cheery colors to play with and a nice variety of elements. Here is a preview of the kit and a look at what I did with it.
