My new challenge for August has started over at Crafty Scraps forum. I thought with summer coming to an end soon and people having done most of their traveling there might a lot of vacation pictures to scrap....so my inspirational quote for this month is about travel. Happy July everyone!! I can't believe the year is half over already. After Christmas, the 4th of July is my next favorite holiday. I love the red, white, and blue, the parades, fireworks, and picnics with family. In honor of this great holiday I've created a red, white, & blue kit as the participation prize for my new Inspirational Quote Challenge this month. Wow there is a lot to tell you about this time. It's been a while since I've been here but there has been a lot going on in life. But I won't bore you with the details of that I want to share the fun stuff!!! First Michelle is doing something wonderful. She is creating something she calls Inspiration Buckets for people who are staying at the rehabilitation center where she had stayed for a while after her leg amputation to make their stay a little less scary. If you would like help Michelle keep making these buckets there are 2 ways to do it....One way is to hit the donate button on the left side of the Crafty Scaps Blog or you can stop at the Crafty Scraps Store and any purchases made in the next 30 days will be donated to this project. Everything in the store is 50% off and ALL CU Clipart is 20% off. Plus if you donate or purchase $5 or more, you will receive a HUGE scrapbooking kit for FREE!!!! It's Hide Find Design and here's how it works....You will SNAG your 1st pieces from Crafty Scraps Blog. From there she will tell you where the next stop is to find more treasured pieces and so on and so on.... eventually you will be directed back to me and then I will send you to the next person.
After you have collected all the pieces, the last stop will send you to the Forum where you will get the rules and what to do. Well Kathy has done it again picking out a wonderful kit for us to use in the September Quick Page Challenge over at DigiScrapStation. This month we have a wonderful kit to work with called Farmer's Market by Scrappy Cats which you can find here and it's perfect since we are going in to the Fall season. If you haven't joined yet it's not too late to join in the fun. The challenges run all month long and there are plenty to keep you busy. I can't believe that this challenge is over. Here is my 4th and last part of the kit. I can't wait to get started on the next kit. This has been so much fun for me. I have 4 quick pages, 3 borders, and 3 page templates. I separated them into 3 downloads so you can download what you want. I hope you enjoy it.

Well now I'm really going to be in trouble. I have joined up with DigiScrapStation and they have so much to do there. I may never leave my computer. I joined in on their QP Challenge for the month of July and used a wonderful kit by Jodi Watson at Throwing Some Scraps Around called Vintage America. You can download my QP below. Watch for more free stuff to come because I know I've found myself a new home.
