About Me

Heidi Colwell-Morris
Welcome to my little section of the world. This is my haven and escape when life gets to be too stressful.

I am a stay at home mom of 4 boys ages 21, 15, 9, and 3. I have been married for 16 years and live in West Bend, WI.  I got hooked on working with graphics during my Photoshop class while in school for web design. I started out making tournament layouts for an online gaming site and used a lot of scrap kits for them. I came across a digital scrap kit page on facebook one night and decided I could make my own elements and kits instead of using everyone else's. Now I can't stop. There really needs to be a 12 step program for scrappers.

In my down time I enjoy reading, being outside (when it's not 100 or -0), shopping, and spending time with my family.

First I want to remind everyone of the huge sale going on at Crafty Scraps. Everything in the store is on sale for 50% off until Christmas. You can't miss out on this sale. What a great way to buy for those hard to shop for relatives.

Michelle has some new stuff to the store also. She has some QP packs and a couple of new kits plus some new clip art kits.

There are also some Scrapbook Max templates for sale in her store over at Scrapbook Max

Now if you're looking for some festive freebies head on over to the Crafty Scraps Blog and snag up this festive little pack of Christmas gift bags and over at the Crafty Scraps Forum there is a freebie pack of Christmas Bears papers for you to snag up. And while you're at the Forum check out a few of the challenges.

Now on to another layout of my adorable new niece Aubree. She's doing so well at home and getting so big.  This is great grandpa holding her for the first time. The layout was made using Michelle's My Angel kit which you can find here.

Boy have I got a lot of stuff to tell you about. This month I have joined in on the HFD Challenge at Crafty Scraps and this is a challenge you DON'T want to miss if you like Christmas like I do.  Next, Michelle has a store-wide sale going on in her Crafty Scraps Store. You can't miss this, everything is 50% off until Christmas!!! And over in the Forum we have added some new challenges in addition to the old favorites. OK enough talking let's get on with the good stuff.

What exactly is the HFD Challenge? It's Hide Find Design and here's how it works....You will SNAG your 1st pieces from Crafty Scraps Blog. From there she will tell you where the next stop is to find more treasured pieces and so on and so on.... eventually you will be directed back to me and then I will send you to the next person.

After you have collected all the pieces, the last stop will send you to the Forum where you will get the rules and what to do. Basically, you will create one layout using ALL the pieces you find and then post it at the Crafty Scraps Forum. Once that is done you will recieve this HUGE MEGA KIT. It's that easy!

Here is the Mega Kit you will recieve

You should have come from Jana's

Here is my piece to download

Your next stop is over at Lori's
Be sure you don't miss out on this kit. I can't wait to see what you all make!

Don't forget about the HUGE sale Michelle has going on until Christmas. You can't miss this one!

Plus all the fun challenges going on in the Forum. Here's a look at some of what we have going on.

So grab your coffee or hot chocolate and get your creative juices flowing. Come hang out with us for a while. You won't be disappointed!!!!

I am proud to announce the birth of my new niece Aubree Angel-Ann. She was born 6 weeks early on October 31, 2012. She weighed 4 lbs 9.7 ozs and was 17 inches long. As of today she is doing amazing and may be able to come home this week. She is quite the little trooper. This little girl is extra special to me because I was able to be in the delivery room and watch her come in to this world. It was an amazing experience to say the least. So be prepared to see lots of layouts of her LOL And here comes the first of many. It was made using a kit called Sweet Pea ~ Girl (also one for boys) by Crafty Scraps.

Here's a preview of the Sweet Pea ~ Boy kit
